Sheep 1.0
Many years ago, the ancestors of today’s modern sheep were sent out across the galaxy from the sheep home star system of Ovis Aries . . .
A few of these explorers landed on Earth. Their mission was to pose as stupid peace loving creatures, and study the habitat. However, the sheep on Earth soon forgot about their mission, wallowing in grass and sunshine, and they slowly became domesticated by Man.
Now the sheep ancestors have returned to Earth from Ovis, to reclaim their lost flock.
To achieve this, without bringing the unwanted attentions of Man, they abducted several Earth inhabitants and supplanted them with the urge to herd, rounding up all the sheep to the fabled Mount Mouflon for the journey home.
However, also visiting Earth is the dreaded Mr Pear, he wishes to acquire the alien sheep technologies in order to rule the universe. He has recruited several characters including an assortment of hench cows, who cause many problems for the sheep and their Shepherds along the way.
And if you believe that, then this is definitely the game for you . . .

Hi, this is just for the people who are reporting problems with this game, apparently all are using OS 9.2.1. And I think that's probabely where the problem lies. There have been numerous reports of people (even developers) who have had problems running games on this version of the OS. If I remember correctly, it has something to do with a Quickdraw glitch or something. The only workaround is to reinstall 9.1 I believe. Anyway, nice game, I gave it an extra jostick just for its originality.

Same as FAT BASTARD - Canada GAME WILL NOT RUN 'Game starts up, screen goes to black, then nothing... Clicking on the screen sometimes makes the game crash, sometimes it locks the computer up completely. I'm running a 400 Mhz G4 on 9.2.1 (10.1 also installed) with the stock ATI Rage 128 as my main monitor, PCI ATI Radeon as my second monitor. 768 megs of RAM, lots of hard drive space left... What gives? Anyone else run into problems?' Clicking on Black screen makes it beep, until it crashes. G4-450mhz, OS 9.2.1, 1gb RAM, 50gb FREE HD space, OS 10.1 also installed, but not in use.

SheepShaver is an Open Source PowerPC Mac OS run-time environment. That is, it enables you to run PowerPC Classic Mac OS software on your computer, even if you are using a different operating system. However, you still need a copy of Mac OS and a PowerMac ROM image to use this program.
